i dont usally play gh but i do it sometimes. its more fun to play on a real guitar and im pretty good at it

It is not. Guitar Hero (A game by Activision, not Sony [It's on 360 and Wii]) . An expert Guitar Hero player may be terrible at Real Guitar and Vice-Versa. It's just a game. Real Guitarrist make appearances in Guitar Hero, so I'm pretty sure it isn't considered an insult or mockery. Furthermore, the game doesn't endorse the fact that you can play real guitar if you play their games.

Also, if Guitar Hero's a mockery to Guitarrists, isn't Wii Sports a mockery to Sports Players? (I do agree it's a mockery to best-selling games, tho), isn't Mario Kart an insult to Race-Car drivers? It's just designed as a party game to have fun with, and that's about it...

I heard Rock Band 3 is actually going to teach you how to play rather than just hitting colored notes, and the future Guitar Hero game will have an electric guitar thing or something (Not sure about the Guitar Hero electric guitar one though).

well if it is true then its awesome but they need to get as much rock song as possible otherwise it will be boring

so do i. my guitar is much more fun to play with but when my fingers bleed or hurt and still wanna play thats where guitar hero comes in to save the day for me

Well it is a were you play with a fake instrument and play popular songs and at the end of the day you only have achievements to show for it when you could have learned how to play guitar.
